PSP Movie: Unleashed

A movie for people who likes action. However, Unleashed isn't the action packed martial arts flick you might expected. However, it has a good drama, an unexpectedly good one. Jet Li's brutal strikes in the opening few moments are more intense than any other recent films in the same vein.

Bob Hoskins is a perfect villain, raising Danny as an animal who does nothing but kill. The drama composes the middle of the film, sandwiched between some incredible fight sequences that make you forget you were bored just in case the drama failed to grasp you.

There is no significant difference between the uncut and R-rated versions. So, you don't miss much. Not really great but worth watching.

PSP Movie Review: SAW

Saw (UMD) - 2005

If you have seen SAW the movie on big screen, you know that this is a story about a serial killer who puts his victims in various traps where the victims only have a short amount of time to escape alive before they die. His purpose in doing this is to allow his victims get a better understanding on life. Oh, you can never imagine how these psychopaths think.

The greatest thing about SAW is that once the Saw gets going, it never lets up. It is a horror/thriller in top form and it clearly shows through brilliant writing and acting. It wasted no time getting into the action. More or less, all the events happen in the span of about six or so hours, with the exceptions of the flash back that Doctor Gordon and Adam tell each other in the bathroom.
